Good Morning, Social Rabbit here with your guide to the world of social media.
You may think that video is far to hard when it comes to content, but trust me it really isn’t. There are so many ways you can use video, to educate, make people laugh, educate, inform and more. You can make your own videos, get someone to do them for you or just use your web cam.
Videos can be added to YouTube, Facebook posts, LinkedIn posts, LinkedIn profiles, Tweets, your blog, your website, Google+ and more. It is another way to tell the story, remember not everyone has the time or inclination to read information. The big success story that you may have heard of with video is Wine Library TV, the brainchild of Gary Vaynerchuk who grew his family’s liquor store from $4million to $55million in 3 years. Who knows the next success story could be you.
Often video gets ignored because it is perceived to be hard to do, but it doesn’t have to be at all. Plan out what you want to do before you start, if you are talking to the camera try not to read from a script, and remember that you can always edit it later if needed I will write a post next week with tips on making a good video on a low budget.
