When is the best time of the day/week to post on my Facebook page?

Good morning, Social Rabbit here with your guide to the world of social media.

This is the million dollar question that everyone wants to know, and yet the answer is not as simple as stating a day and time, other factors come into play, namely:

  • Who your Facebook audience are, eg their age, where they live (time zone), if they work
  • What your page is about, eg professional service, consumer product, consumer service etc.

At Last! The difference between Facebook Pages, Groups & Profiles!

Good Afternoon, Social Rabbit here with your guide to the world of social media.

I find that all too often people get confused on the differences between a Facebook Page, group and profile, and so end up setting up the wrong type of account for their business.  This is frustrating for everyone, as usually by the time you realise you already have people and have to start a new page or group and ask everyone to move over! YUK!

The table below shows the difference between a Facebook page, group and profile.

There are a few steps before actually setting up your Facebook group or page for your business:

  1. Decide what the purpose is of using Facebook (this will help you decide whether a group or page is best)
  2. Work out who your target audience are
  3. Decide on your goals for your group or page
  4. Now choose whether you will go with a group or a page and get started!

A short post today, but an important one, if your account isn’t set up right from the start you can waste a lot of time and energy, and let’s face it no one likes doing that!

If you are still confused, let me know how I can help you in the comments :)
