How to run your Business’ social media without being on a computer (much!)

Good afternoon, Social Rabbit here with your guide to the world of social media.

Yesterday I did a talk for a group of landscape architects on social media, afterwards I was asked how when you are not in front of a computer all day can you actually keep on top of it?  I thought this was a great blog topic as there must be 0000s of people who run or work in a business, but don’t sit at a desk – in fact apparently there are 800,000 tradies (that’s trades people to non-Aussies) in Australia alone.

First up, unfortunately you can’t get away with never sitting in front of your computer, but you can minimize it.

Your Facebook Prayers have been answered

Good Afternoon, Social Rabbit here with your guide to the world of social media.

There has been A LOT of complaining since Facebook changed the page layout in February because wall posts were not appearing in chronological order, well today, just moments ago this has changed – AGAIN!

There are three important changes:

1)  There is no longer an admin view of the page under the wall tab, it now says hidden posts.  Hidden posts are those that Facebook has marked as spam and moved to that section instead of them showing on the wall.  You should be checking this section as often posts that are NOT spam are moved there and may need rescuing.
